Submission Policy

The Bicycle Review is a bi-monthly publication.

We read on a full-time basis.

We don't write rejection letters, so if you don't hear back from us...

This is not a commercial venture. We run no ads and ask for
no copy or publishing rights to any work submitted.

Submissions should not exceed 15,000 words.

Longer pieces (more than 5,000 words) will be published in the Stories Archive rather than the Current Issue, or, in rare cases, may be serialized.

We publish no specific genre. Formal innovation is definitely a plus, but substance will triumph over style in the

end.

We accept poetry, fiction, and essays.

Simultaneous submissions, previously published work, etc. is accepted, on the condition that this creates no

conflicts with other publishers' submission policies or publishing rights.

Please send your written submissions in .rtf Format, as attachments, and include a bio, also in the form of

an attachment; as opposed to pasted into your email as a calling card.

Feel free to send a few pieces.

The Bicycle Review also showcases the work of one Photographer  and one Fine Artist per issue.

Submissions should be in the form of jpegs.

Please send around 20-25 pieces.

Please send your submissions as attachments, and please include a bio, also in the form of an attachment; as

opposed to pasted in your email as a calling card.
